Scrappy Trippin again!

Just finished putting the blocks together on this Scrappy Trip...loving it!  I had a little help from a friend, this is Peggy...shes 10.  I am housesitting and she is my company...cant complain, I love me a black lab...fantastic dogs!

As you can see, Peggy approves wholeheartedly of my color and design choice for this quilt...she gave me a high paw five!    Now to add a black skinny border and a wider purple border...then its on to the quilting!

I'd love to hear if you are interested in joining, so leave a comment. Even if you have arrived here late... Don't let that stop you from letting me know you want to participate. Better late than never!

Feel free to grab this button from my sidebar if you are participating in the quilt along. Pass the word!

Sew Fresh Quilts

Please share your photos of your progress and finished works to the Quilt Along Flickr Group.

This is the schedule, but it's not set in stone.
If you have completed the work for that week and are eager to get to the next step, just leave me a comment and I will make the next post early. Everyone works at a different pace and some have more free time to quilt than others. So don't feel bad if you are wanting to get to the next stage and can't wait. And don't feel like you're being rushed if you see the next set of instructions being posted before you are finished the last step given. Hope that's okay with everyone!

Raffle Quilt for the VFW

My oldest sister who lives in Mohave Valley, AZ is very active with their local VFW post #404.   She is always baking and cooking and volunteering to help as much as she can so when she asked me if I could make a quilt to donate and raffle off on 4th of July to raise  money for the post...I said "heck ya"...so heres a scrappy patriotic quilt...all done in our beloved RED WHITE & BLUE!

My sister received the quilt in the mail today and loves it!  I hope they raise a bunch of money!
                                               Thank you to our Veterans!
