Halloween Dresses!

I was shopping the other day with my Grandaughter Jayden
and we came across some Halloween Eyeball fabric, she
says to me "Granny, I want an Eyeball dress!". Well, the
fabric was $12 a yard, so NO GO....

So, afterwards we went over to Joanns and
she picked out this cute fabric with
Green Bats!  So I made her this super quick
and easy pillowcase dress...she loves it!

This second one I made for a co-workers daughter, it has
Halloween Taffys all over it and glitter...very cute!
She wore it to school and it fit perfect, so cute!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

I'm blinded by Polka Dots!

My daughter-in-law Kasey is such a sweetheart..
and a patient girl at that.  She asked for this
Polka Dot quilt a couple of years ago and
with everything in life going on, I just didnt get it
done for her..bad bad me!

I am happy to report and show that I have gotten her quilt
together and that she WILL get it this Christmas!
It is bright bright bright, exactly like she wanted and I have to
admit, its right up my alley with its wonderful bursts of color!

Here it is on the longarm frame, I am doing simple loopy
loops on it with pink thread.  She asked for the yummy
hot pink tie dye flannel for the backing.

Its just about finished being quilted then I can get the
binding on, I am thinking a nice solid color for the binding..
what do you all think?

and make it into an Ornament for
them to display this year for Halloween.

Heres what I made for my partner.
                                 WICKED!!
With a scary Halloween Raven!!

It was a quick little stitching project for me,
I like how it turned out...I sure
hope my partner does too..I am sending along
4 Sees Candies Lollipops with her ornament..chocolate, vanilla, butterscotch and
Café Latte! Yummo!!!

And here is what I received
from my parter Jenn...super cute!

I love love love that little tiny
black cat stitchery, so cute!
A Yummy Maple lollipop , some cute
ribbons, a pattern and the most adorable
hand made Halloween card...

Its done! Yay!  My Bonnie Hunter Spider Web Quilt is
finished and I love it!  I even longarmed it myself, a major step!
This was the biggest quilt I have longarmed myself to date!

Here it is on the frame...not very much room left for this
quilt to be any bigger!

Heres a close up of my loopy loops...not to shabby!

Needless to say, finishing up the binding on this beast took me a
couple of days but it is done done done and I have it on my
bed for ME! Its so cozy and warm, a perfect winter quilt!
YAY!!!

You can see that row in the
bottom photo..

Oh Bonnie Hunter, I love you and your scrappy goodness!!

I'd like to personally thank Bonnie for everything that she
does for all us quilters all over the world...she

shares her travels, and the best thing of all, her patterns and her
yearly mystery quilt!!

This is my third year following along with her mysterys.

Heres my Easy Street from 2012

Here is my Celtic Solstice from 2013
(love this one!)

This years Mystery is called Grand Illusion...
you can find all the info on Bonnies blog@

Bonnie just put
the Introduction post yesterday
with the fabric
