Quilting Block Swaps Australia Angels

In the Quilting Block Swap Australia group, we have a group of "Angels" who make and send blocks to those in the group who haven't received promised blocks or are going through a hard time and just need a little boost....I am one of those angels and I enjoy it very much.  I got a request from our leader to make a tree block for a lady in need..here it is...

I had a piece of leftover Christmas piano keys so I put this together in a wonky "no pattern" type of construction...I think its so cute, might just make myself one with the leftovers!

Look what I got!

I participated in the "Quilting block swaps Australia" Cushion Swap 2013.  This is the cushion cover that I received from my partner Robyn along with a cute card and some yummy tea!  Turns out she was also my partner for January so she sent this beautiful block also....

 

If you look closely, you can see that she "wove" fabrics together in the middle of the cushion cover, I have never seen anything like it, its just gorgeous....thank you so much Robyn!!
