The middle is my starting block, a Lonestar paper pieced block in "Vintage Modern" fabrics...one of my favorite lines of fabric by Bonnie & Camille...so pretty!!
Then my wonderful quilty friends from Oregon, Yukon Territory Canada, Connecticut, Michigan and Ohio added border after beautiful border. Then, to finish it up into a quilt size, I added my Fat Quarter Shop 2013 BOM blocks which were also done in "Vintage Modern" to each end with some piano keys. Then added some scraps that I turned into pinwheels to the borders...
I decided to use the remaining FQS BOM blocks for a pieced backing with a strip...The block on the far right is the label that all the awesome quilty ladies signed with their names and locations...you can see a bigger photo below...bordered with my scrappy leftover pieces...gotta use it up ya know!
Needless to say, I am so pleased with the end result of my one lonely little block...I had a fantastic group of ladies to work on my quilt and I couldnt be more thankful to each and every one of them. They all did such beautiful work and put so much quilty love into my project! I want to thank each of them from the bottom of my heart, I will treasure this quilt forever...its definately staying with me!! Mine Mine Mine!!
Lastly, great big huggy quilty heartfelt thanks to Michelle of "Quilts from my crayon box" Blog for hosting this great Round Robin.....she is so organized and fun to work with! She is so patient and keeps everyone moving along...she is a great motivator...You ROCK girlfriend!
