First ever quilt on my Longarm

Yep Yep...here it is folks!  I am finally using the Tin Lizzie 18 that I purchased about 4 years ago.  I have never ONCE gotten this machine to work correctly!

While driving home from our trip last week, I decided that enough was enough and picked up the phone to call and see if the longarm guy could come the next day and figure out why this machine doesnt want to work correctly.  He said he could come, so the next day we spent 3 hours tinkering with my Longarm.  He said that we need to order a sensor to get the "Lizzie Stitch" working but he got me going with the manual stitch which is just fine for me, I can do loopy loops and stipple and swirls..perfect!  So, the next day, I spent almost 5 hours loading and quilting this quilt below which is my Scrappy Block Lotto Geese pattern.
I did loopy loops, the thread broke many many times probably because I used a vintage sheet for backing.  But all in all, I think it turned out ok, I am proud of it!

  1. Yippee! At least it is working and I'm hoping for you that when you get the needed part, more of your problems will go away. Still consider the upgrade though. It changes everything, for the good.
