Zig Zag!

My sewing buddy Julie comes over and sews
withme as often as we can get together
and I helped her make this masculine
Zig Zag quilt for her Nephew.

We busted a whole bunch of
black and white scraps and paired it with Kona Chinese Red and some Gray...

Then she used up more scraps making a scrappy border...shes really come a long way with her quilting skills, I think she did a wonderful job
on this one!  I think her nephew will love it!

Heres a close up of my longarm quilting, I did a medium sized Meander/Stipple in gray thread.
It turned out great dont you think??

Great job Julie!

P.S. Now I get to trim and bind it for her!

I am almost scared to mention that the longarm
is up and working right now....dont want
to jinx myself!  Its all because of this Studmuffin
who came up to my house from Meissners Sacramento and helped me tremendously!

Thanks Karl!!

Hallelujah!!!
